Sometimes, it takes much time to correct certain anomalies caused by our environment. Why it does, is simply that the most basic teacher to a child, is the environment he or she is born into. The author of this writ approaches this problem by giving an analysis of the place of moral development in a society, the need for character reformation, the threat of moral corruption, as well as the creation of a sane community coated with economic sustainability.

Many traditions in most parts of the world and especially in Africa, are indeed replete with stories of how the Universe began. One of such fantastic histories was narrated by the Efik tribe. This article shall journey into an analysis of the implications of this narrative.
